Carolyn Murset

Olive Osmond

Carolyn Murset is a singer-songwriter and published playwright whose five albums of original music and one-woman musical have taken her across the Southwest and Off-Broadway with Tales of Tila. Most recently seen as Miss Bates in Emma: The Musical at SGMT, she’s delighted to be part of this wonderful production.

Jim Zierse

Virl Osmond

Jim is thrilled to perform in Can You Hear the Music. A seasoned performer in Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver!, Crazy for You, and Catch Me If You Can, Jim golfs and works when offstage. He’s grateful for his wife Emily and their four daughters’ support.

Tommy Adams

Vocalist

Tommy Adams is thrilled to perform in Can You Hear the Music? for his debut with SGMT. He is in 9th grade at CCMS. Recent roles include Lord Farquaad (Shrek Jr.) & Grandpa (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). He is also a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol & enjoys playing ukulele & piano.

Heather Oram

Vocalist

Heather is thrilled to be returning to SGMT and the PAC. She is so grateful to be sharing her passion. You may have recently seen her in Best of Broadway 4, or as Jerusha (Daddy Long Legs). Favorite roles include Louise/Gypsy Rose Lee (Gypsy), Eva Peron (Evita), Sally Bowles (Cabaret), Bea, (Something Rotten), The Witch (Into The Woods).

Riley VanBuren

Vocalist

Riley VanBuren is delighted to be in such a fantastic show! A lifelong fan of The Osmonds, Riley was last seen as Natalie in Stage Door’s “All Shook Up”. Her past credits include SGMT’s “Annie” and “She Loves Me”, and Hurricane Theatrical’s “Joseph” and “Newsies”.

Andy Young

Vocalist

His  SGMT adventures started as Gaston in 2018. You have also seen him play other characters here and on other stages in town. Most recently : Capt. VonTrapp (Sound of Music), Frankie (Plaid Tidings), and Bill Calhoun (Kiss me Kate). In real life, he is a science teacher and normal dude who loves his sweetheart and family and living a full and meaningful life. Mahalo nui!!!

Kaleb North

Vocalist

Kaleb North is excited to be a part of this wonderful cast! You may have seen him before at SGMT in Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik), My Fair Lady (Male Ensemble), and most recently Best Of Broadway 4 (Featured Dancer)! Kaleb loves Ballroom Dancing and Performing with his wife, Kapri!

Brennan Walter

Swing

Brennan Walters is very excited to be a part of this show! Being able to participate in a world premier has always been a dream of his, and adding the wonderful music of the Osmond’s?! Talk about a dream come true! Brennan is no stranger to the SGMT stage, recently seen as Moonface Martin (Anything Goes) and Eddie Ryan (Funny Girl), along with MANY others! Enjoy the show!

The entire show is amazing. Olive was passionate, warm and strong, as Olive Osmond was, the performers enthusiasm to find their inner Osmond warmed my heart. Little Jimmy has the part in the bag! Paper Roses, perfection.Crazy horses rocked the house. I am so proud of all of you for portraying the Osmond Family so beautifully and with such passion. You should all be very proud, I have loved all the shows I attended, it's a beautiful tribute, well done!! Thank you for making me welcome, and feel 13 again!

I didn’t know this was a community theater production until right before we came. I expected an “ok” performance, but I also thought it probably wouldn’t be up to “Osmond” ability. And no they aren’t the Osmonds, but I was shocked and greatly surprised at how good this was..and this is from a fan who came a little skeptical. We came from Maryland to Utah for this show specifically, and it was worth the trip!!! Just wish I knew how good it was so I could have planned to see it another time (or 2). Added note..the front of house staff were so nice and friendly, and speaking with Austin after the show was a pleasant surprise. Bravo everyone!

My favorite part of the show was the projection pictures, videos in the back. Dancing was quite good. Individual voices were very good.
