To Sum It Up
A musical set during World War II. The story revolves around two love stories: one between a U.S. Navy nurse, Nellie Forbush, and a French plantation owner, Emile de Becque, and the other between an American lieutenant, Joe Cable, and a young Tonkinese woman named Liat. The musical explores themes of love, racial prejudice, and the impact of war on individuals and society.
